Home | 2007 Event |2006 Event | 2005 Event | Contact CLUBMAN 3D HELI-FEST 2005 The Goole and District RC Aero Club, organised some very successful Helicopter Fly-ins. This success attracted pilots from all over the country including many of the UK's top 3-D, FAI and Scale fliers. In 2005, the First Clubman 3D Flyin and Competition was held over the May Bank Holiday Weekend, hosted by The Goole and District RC Aero Club. This event gave the 'club flyer' a chance to taste 3D Competition and gain valuable competition experience. We also hoped that this event will become a stepping-stone to the larger 3D competitions, and maybe find the next budding Curtis Youngblood !!! The rules were set out to cater for club pilots and entries were not accepted from heavily sponsored or recognised pilots who have competed at previous international events. The FIRST ever 3-Day event of its kind in the UK, combined a relaxed and fun flyin, on Friday and Saturday with the Clubman 3D Cup held on Sunday.
